Athlete's Foot


Athlete’s foot is a common foot infection. It causes cracked feet and water filled blisters that may itch or burn on the soles of the feet or between the toes. It can infect the toenails causing them to thicken and become discolored. Athlete’s foot is contagious and can lead to secondary bacterial infection if left untreated, especially for people with circulatory problems and diabetes.
